Community Guidelines

BQZ is for everyone. These rules keep it safe and respectful. They apply to posts, stories, comments, messages, usernames and profiles.

1. Respect people

• No harassment, bullying or insults, and do not keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
• No threats, and no incitement to violence or hate against a person or group because of religion, race, nationality, gender, disability or illness.
• No sharing someone's private details or photos (address, phone number, documents) without their permission.

2. Protecting children

• Absolutely no sexual content involving minors, or any exploitation of them. We report this to the authorities.
• No contacting a minor in a way that harms them or grooms them.

3. Sexual and shocking content

• No nudity or explicit sexual content.
• No excessively graphic violence or content that glorifies harm. Sensitive content that its context allows (news, awareness) may appear blurred with a warning.

4. Harm and danger

• Do not promote self-harm, suicide or eating disorders. If you need help, talk to someone you trust or a specialist service in your country.
• No selling or promoting drugs, weapons or anything illegal.
• No incitement to terrorism and no glorifying violent organisations.
• No dangerous acts or challenges.

5. Be honest

• Do not pretend to be another person, a public body or a brand, and do not create fake accounts to mislead. Impersonation can lead to your account being closed.
• Do not spread false information meant to harm people or to mislead about health and safety.
• No scams, fraud, malicious links, spam or fake engagement.
• Some official names (public figures and official bodies) are reserved and only allowed for their owners.

6. Respect the law and culture

• Follow the laws of your country and of the countries where you use the app. Respect local values, beliefs and culture.
• Do not insult religion or religions, national symbols or leaders.

7. Respect creators

Post only what you made or have the right to share. If you see content copied from you, report it. We remove content that copies other people's work.

8. Reporting, blocking and muting

• You can report any post, comment, message or account from the three-dots menu. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.
• You can block or mute anyone at any time, and they are not told.
• Reports are reviewed by automatic checks and by people. Repeated false reports can lead to restrictions on your account.

Zero tolerance

There is no place on BQZ for objectionable content or abusive users. We remove it and ban the accounts responsible.

9. What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious the breach is and how often it happens, we may blur, hide or remove content, warn you, limit features, suspend your account for a while, or close it for good. Serious cases (such as exploiting children) may be closed straight away and reported to the authorities. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@bqzapp.com and we will review it.

10. Updates

We may change these rules as the app grows, and we will tell you about important changes in the app.
